wineo PURLINE organic flooring is a high-quality bio-polyurethane flooring solution made from the finest materials. The basis is ecuran: a high-performance composite material that is manufactured primarily from plant-based oils such as canola oil or castor oil and naturally-occurring mineral components such as chalk. PURLINE organic floor coverings have received many environmental awards and are available for you to use without a second thought.
Productie, vervoer & verpakking
The production of PURLINE Bioboden at the Detmold site in Germany is powered by climate-neutral green electricity and likewise climate-neutral process heat. At both locations we have also installed state-of-the-art photovoltaic systems that supply our own production facilities with electricity and feed unused energy into the public grid. On average, we generate a total of about 325,000 kWh per year ourselves.

As a family-run business, the well-being of our employees is of particular concern to us. That’s why Windmöller not only has a workers’ council but also various programs and offers for mental and physical health. Since 2015, we are offering all of our employees a broad range of healthcare management programmes for before, during and after work. Since 2002, we have also been working with a company doctor to provide monthly check-ups as well as further examinations and discussions.

Duurzame impact
The use of renewable raw materials is a much more effective contribution to recycling than is possible with current recycling structures. in our product development we focused not only on the selection of raw materials but also on the fact that PURLINE can be disposed of uncritically through all established recycling channels. At present, this is primarily the use of energy in waste incineration. The improvement and establishment of recycling routes is, of course, part of our development and corporate objectives.
